What should we wear?
Keep it simple. Neutral tones always look good, and try to avoid anything too busy or matchy. The goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and like themselves—not overthought.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
We bribe them with sugary prizes… kidding. Kids are kids. I’m pretty good at getting through to them—I’m basically just a big kid myself. Half the time, whatever I’m doing to make the kids laugh ends up getting the parents laughing even more, and that’s usually when the best moments happen.
Where do family sessions take place?
Most sessions are around San Clemente, Dana Point, or San Juan Capistrano—beaches, parks, or spots that feel easy and natural. If you have a place that means something to your family, we can go there too.
How long does a session take?
Mini sessions are about 20 minutes. Full sessions usually run closer to an hour, and if we’re shooting at sunset, I always leave a little extra time to catch that afterglow once the sun drops—it’s worth it.
How long does it take to get photos back?
Turnaround is pretty quick. You’ll get a full gallery that’s easy to download, share, or order prints from.
