Summer gives us long evenings and bright coastal color, while fall usually means warmer tones and slightly quieter beaches.
I usually schedule sessions during the last hour before sunset when the light is softer and more flattering. Weekdays are also great when we want to avoid the biggest crowds.

What are the best locations for senior photos in San Clemente?
The pier is always a go-to, but I also like shooting down by Calafia for a little more space and better light. There are a few quieter spots along the coast too, so it really depends on the vibe you’re going for.
What time is best for senior pictures?
Sunset. That last hour before the sun goes down is where everything comes together. I’ll time it so we’re in the best spots right as the light gets good.
What should I wear for senior photos?
Keep it simple and comfortable. Neutral tones work really well at the beach. I usually recommend one outfit a little more dressed up and one more casual so you get some variety.
Do you shoot college graduation photos too?
Yeah, I do both high school seniors and college grads. Whether it’s cap and gown or something more relaxed, we can keep it clean and natural and still make it feel like you.
Do you help with posing?
100%. Most people aren’t used to being in front of a camera, so I’ll guide you the whole time so it feels easy and nothing looks forced.
