Laguna Beach Wedding Venues
A simple breakdown of Laguna Beach wedding venues, small ceremony locations, and elopement spots.
Laguna Beach is one of the easier places to get married in Orange County if you keep things simple.
You’ve got the ocean, walkable locations, and enough variety that you don’t need to overplan the day. Whether it’s a full wedding or something smaller, Laguna tends to come together naturally.

Surf & Sand Resort
Surf & Sand is more of a full-service venue right on the beach.
If you want something a little more built out but still right on the water, this is a solid option. You’re basically on top of the ocean the entire time.

Laguna Beach Elopement Locations
Heisler Park
Heisler Park is one of the easiest spots in Laguna for a small ceremony.
Ocean views, open space, and everything is walkable. It works really well if you want something simple without going through a full venue.
Crescent Bay Point Park
Crescent Bay Point Park is another really good option for smaller ceremonies.
It’s a little more tucked away than Heisler, with great ocean views and a quieter feel overall. Easy access, open space, and a clean backdrop make it a solid choice if you want something simple without a lot of moving parts.
Q&A
What’s the best time of day for a Laguna Beach wedding?
Late afternoon into sunset is usually the move. The light off the water softens up and everything just looks better. Earlier in the day can still work, but sunset is where Laguna really shines.
Do Laguna Beach wedding venues get windy?
Yeah, anything right on the cliffs or close to the water can get a breeze, especially later in the day. Nothing crazy, but it’s something to plan for with hair, veils, and setup.
What’s the difference between Laguna Beach venues?
Some are right on the ocean with wide open views, and others are a little more tucked away with more privacy. It really comes down to whether you want that big coastal backdrop or something quieter and more secluded.
Can you take photos on the beach at Laguna venues?
Most of the time, yes—either directly from the venue or with a short walk. Laguna has a ton of great little coves and shoreline spots, so we can usually get a mix without going far. Some beaches do require photo permits, depending on the location, so it’s something I always help guide you on ahead of time.
Do Laguna Beach weddings get cold at night?
Even on warm days, once the sun goes down it cools off quick by the water. You’ll usually feel that ocean breeze come in, so having something light to throw on later is always a good idea.
Laguna Beach Elopement Experience
Laguna Beach is one of the best places around for keeping things simple.
You don’t need a full venue to have a great experience here. Between the coastline, parks, and walkable spots, it’s easy to put together something that feels natural without overcomplicating it.
If you’re leaning toward something smaller or just the two of you, I offer a more streamlined approach through Tides to Peaks.
